UPSU Media - Get Involved

The Union offers a range of opportunities within our student led media. These services exist primarily for two reasons, firstly to offer first class, professional experience to the volunteers, but also as a means of engaging members in our democratic processes, by providing a free and open outlet for their voices and opinions to be heard.

Through these real life, working media outlets, you can gain a whole range of skills and experiences, as well as a chance to really shape the decisions the Union makes.The experience offered by the Union’s Media really is invaluable if you want to pursue a career in the media. The training offered will help to prepare you for future jobs, and it can look fantastic on your CV. Pugwash News

Each issue of this fortnightly newspaper is packed full of news, reviews and features. It also has a dedicated sports section, looking primarily at the achievements of the Union’s Sports Clubs. Pugwash Magazine

Our glossy magazine, is published 4 times a year, and is really open to anything. Each issue is loosely based around a theme, and contributions are encouraged on a range of topics. PureFM

Our very own internet radio station, PureFM has recently moved into our new state of the art audio studios. PureFM focus on giving their members the best experience of working in a real live radio station, with many success stories in their alumni members. To find out more, email office@purefm.com
