So, I've just finished watching the Waratah's play the Lions in Jo-Burg. I do think that the Tah's didn't play their best game. But I was extremely please to see that Kurtley Beale, "the Australian Schoolboy sensation" according to some, former St Joseph's College Boy, and Aussie schools captain.
He is one of the many 'newbies' at the HSCB Waratah's, who are Lachlan Turner (Also one of last year's schoolboys, and former GPS Newington School boy), Jeremy Tilse (former Joeys boys), and just recently have added former Joeys and Aussie Schools captain, Patrick McCutcheon.
Kurtley is currently in a spot of bother as a court has ordered him to pay $1500 for a drunken driving, without a license charge. For an offense he apparently committed about a month ago, in his home town of Mount Druitt.
He will hopefully be the opening fly-half for the Waratah's game next weekend, as I didn't really see anything overly special about the player to opened today. "Han...." I forget his name.
Kurtley is also a very high possibility for the France World Cup in the Autumn. With the Wallabies head coach, John Connolly, saying he is a high contender [to replace Stephen Larkham].
