What is a blog?

A "blog" is an online diary where you can write about anything you want - what you're doing on your course or at work, day-to-day experiences, social commentary, poems, prose, illicit thoughts... It's up to you. A blog is a great way for you to keep your friends and family or anyone who is interested informed of what you have been up to, providing them with a vital link to see what you're doing for them. Since anyone can leave a comment on your blog entries, it is also a great way for you to receive direct feedback. Remember that comments are not shown to visitors of your blog until you approve each one (HOW? By clicking a green "tick" shown next to entries which have not yet been approved).
