The Athletic Union (AU) is the organisation responsible for administrating all aspects of sports club activity at the University of Portsmouth. We are here to cater for the sporting needs of all our students, with 34 clubs and an excess of 2,000 AU members there is something to interest everyone.

Societies support students who want to participate in a range of activities, whether it be performing arts, social, religious, cultural, political or academic. Societies are part of the Union's dedication to providing students with an inclusive and diverse community whilst also providing some of the most exciting and unique activities available.

Volunteering in Portsmouth is a student run and led organisation which means the students have full say as to how VIP runs and what events take place! If volunteering's not your bag, what about Student led media producing Pugwash News, Pugwash Magazine or Pure FM? Maybe you're even a fundraiser and want to help raise money in Portsmouth.
