Student Activities & Development Officer

Hello my fellow students. The name to remember is: ANSON LI aka ODDJOB!

I am standing for the position of Student Activities and Development Officer in this years elections.

WHO AM I?

I am currently in my third year studying Business Information Technology. A course that has taught me how to run a business effectively using I.T. which is useful for going into a professional environment.

During my time at the University of Portsmouth I have been a very productive and energetic student from getting to know many people on my course to supporting them when they needed help.

I am a member of several different societies and sports clubs ranging from the Hockey Club to the Hong Kong Society. It has allowed me to meet various people from different backgrounds and cultures, sharing experiences and making new friends.

Organising social events has also been part of my university life. I have organised events such as course meals, end of year dinners and any other reason conceivable to go out with load of people to have fun and an enjoyable evening to remember. Going out on social evenings with the clubs and societies I am part of has left me with lots of great memories. Theme nights involving dressing up, having adventures and rolling around the bars, pubs, clubs and the Union in Portsmouth has provided many good nights out and reasons not to stay in.
