Wednesday 14 May at 1pm is the VIP AGM (Annual General Meeting). This is where the VIP committee will give a brief explanation on what VIP is and does, report back on the events and activities carried out in the past year, give details of the committee positions for next year, and the elections will take place to elect the new committee.
If you would like to get involved in VIP next year, as a committee member, team leader or just want to know more, please come along. It would be great to see as many students there as possible as this is also VIP's chance to thank everyone all for all their support and work throughout the year. The room has not yet been confirmed, so please ask at Union reception on the day to find out where the meeting is being held. VIP - or "Volunteering In Portsmouth" - gives you the chance to try out new things and learn new skills while helping people and building your CV up, and it's also a great way to get to know other people during your time at University and beyond!
