Course Rep Exec Chair Manifesto.

Hello,
My name is Stephen Vallance and I am a second year student studying Politics and International Relations. During my time at University I have been an active member of the Students’ Union. I regularly attend Student Council, I have held different positions on a range of Societies from Politics and Debating to the Tsuyoi Martial Arts to Societies Executive. Furthermore, as a member of the Democratic Compliance Committee (DCC) I have learnt that the Course Rep system is flawed and that nobody really does much about it, or knows how to fix the problems that are there, such as people not knowing who their Course Reps are (including the Course Reps themselves!), and some Course Reps doing little work. If elected I plan to work with the VP of Education and Democracy to help resolve these issues to ensure that all Course Reps and students are fully aware of the Course Rep system and how it works. This will ensure that all students and Course Reps are fairly represented and have an equal say, and that if any issues are found in a course that they can be resolved.
You should also vote for me as I have had experience chairing meetings before with the DCC and therefore know what it is like to chair a meeting and send it in the correct direction. This also shows that I have no bias towards anyone thus making the perfect candidate.
