Thursday (which is either tomorrow, or today, depending on when you read this)(if it's after the 22nd, then you missed it!) is this months Union Council meeting.
It is open to ALL students, and you are actively encouraged to participate if you want to know what the Union is doing on your behalf.
Each of the Sabbatical Officers submit a report for this meeting, where they outline what they've been doing for you over the last month.
All students are permitted to put forward motions on issues that they believe the Union should take into account. These are then voted for at the Union Council meeting. If you want to submit a motion, unfortunately you've missed the boat for this month (the next one is the 13th December), but come along to the meeting and get a feel for what happens by taking part in what is probably the most important part of the Union!!
