Are you in halls or in a house? If you are a Portsmouth resident (i.e you live in a house) then you should be able to get up there for less than that

Hey,

The cost for resendents of Portsmouth is £3.50

And I have been up there, and I am going ot say - WOW. Yes, its busy at the moment (half term and all) but even its it a little hazy its one hell of a view. Recommended for all! (alart those afraid of heights.. theres a glass floor on Deck 1.. )

Cheers

That's a biz cheeky after all you come to Portsmouth and pretty much live there but cause you are a student they don't let be a resident. Exclusionist, elite gits!

it's because you have to provide a council tax/gas/electric/water bill to get the discount, I don't remember ever having to pay any of those in halls.

Youre a student, you dont pay council tax, the water is not linked with the council and gas and electricity you get off of other providers again not linked with the council... you also pay this in halls too but its just all inclusive you you dont have to worry about bills etc

If you work in GW check with your employers because on the 28th a limited number of employees can go up for free.
Haven't been up yet but my brother went up the day it opened. Looks good from the photos!

Have been up there 3 times now... love the view... very good value if you can prove your a student and a resident...

For people questioning whether the view is worth it... Overlooking Gunwharf
