Hi everybody!
I was talking to my friend a few weeks ago, and he said his uni has a games society. They just get together and play games. So i thought that we should set up one too. I'm just seeing if anyone would be interested in this before i went to the union about it. And committee positions would be available of course.
My idea is to get together on wednesday afternoons and play games in a room in the union. Maybe one afternoon we'd play board games, kid's party games, other stuff e.g consequences, mafia, consequences, jenga etc. And in the summer term maybe stuff like rounders, frisbee, british bulldog, it, stuck in the mud. Drinking would be possible too if you want.
So leave me a message if you're interested, then i'll contact you. If enough people are interested then i'll talk to the union. |

Ohhhh yeah!
Loving the games! Got a really wicked monopoly for christmas, and also got Articulate - soooo much fun. Played cranium once a couple of years ago - would love to play that again!
Haven't played consequenses in donkeys years. I can see it being a little bit different now we're a little older (and with a bit of alcohol thrown in!) But you are obviously a fan - you mentioned it twice!! haha
Got into aerobie a couple of years ago - so much better than real frisbees.. someone once told me that they hold the world record for being the object that has been thrown the longest distance - can totally believe that!
You MUST get this society started! |
