The buying and selling forums are provided as a way for students to buy and sell. The Union accepts no responsibility for the adverts placed in these forums, so please use your common-sense when replying to adverts!
This includes not sending cash through the post, and the use of untraceable services such as Western Union or Moneygram which offer no protection against fraud.
If you are suspicious of an advert, please report it to a moderator. Similarly, if a moderator considers an advert to be questionable, they may remove it without warning (although they will normally contact the person who placed the advert if this happens). If you think your advert has been unfairly removed, please e-mail admin@upsu.net with your username and the title of the advert and we will look into the reason your advert was removed.
Please don't criticise adverts; it's up to the seller how much they ask for, and how they advertise their items.
Please note that we reserve the right to remove the for sale and wanted forums at any time if the system becomes subject to abuse.
A last note regarding traders and pyramid schemes: both are not permitted according to the site rules. If you are a trader, please contact the advertising department for a paid banner. If you want to advertise a pyramid scheme, you're all out of luck - these are completely prohibited!
