One of our RAG charities this year is The Rowans Hospice, a local charity, which provides hospice care and support to patients with life limiting illness.

On Saturday 19th April you can help raise some money for them by taking part in a sponsored abseil, from the Civic Offices in Guildhall Square.

Last year saw members of the LGBT Society and the Ethics, Equality and Diversity committee doing just this on a very windy day in December, and raising awareness and money for World Aids Day. So if you haven't done it before, just ask one of them - I'm pretty sure most would say that it's an opportunity not to be missed!!!

It costs just £10 to have a go - so why not get yourselves signed up and get all your friends and family to sponsor you!!

If it all seems a bit daunting, how about getting a team together, of your sports club/society/housemates!! And of course, do it in fancy dress!!!

If you want to get signed up - email me and I'll get a registration form to you!

Urm, we'll see shall we. I think I've got a coursework deadline that week.

btw - Don't tell Norman this is happening - he's still reeling from December when I didn't do it with the EEDC!
