What is it?
The MiDAS minibus qualification allows students and staff to drive minibuses on Union business. The test is free, but you will need to pay for a copy of the handbook, which costs around £10.
What's involved?
To qualify for your MiDAS, you must take a short theory test, followed by a supervised drive to assess your competence. The whole process normally takes less than three hours to complete.
Who can apply?
To apply for your MiDAS qualification, you must be over 21, and have held a full UK driving license for at least three years.
