It's Bird and Fitter here, your Social Secs for this coming year..

Netball is a fantastic way to meet new people at University and keeping fit is always a bonus. We have 5 teams and train between 2 and 3 times a week. Our teams range across all levels of ability and all teams play in the university league, travelling all over the South West competing against other universities.

Being part of a club gives you opportunities to meet the most weird and wonderful people. We make it compulsory to get dressed up in the most ridiculous outfits (consisting of Smurfs – yes body paint, cave girls, bumble bees etc), play humiliating games and drink lots of……………..water?!?

We socialise as a club and with other University sports teams such as Rugby, Hockey and Football, just to show them we are so much better! Other must do events include pretending to play on TOUR! 

Don’t be fooled, we do train and work hard, however we reward ourselves with playing just as hard!
