Club News
Ultimate Frisbee is a new sport that is very competitive and can be played by anyone at different levels. It requires players to engage with the sport on both a physical and mental level. Portsmouth boasts a strong team and travel all over the country attending tournaments throughout the year.
Training Sessions
Monday: Sprints Training at the common, 6:30 – 7:30
Tuesday: Indoor Training at St. Pauls Gym, 5:30 – 7:30
Wednesday: Outdoor Training at the common, 2:00 – 4:00
Friday: Indoor Training at St. Pauls Gym (1st team only) 4:30 – 6:30
Sunday: Outdoor Training at the common, 2:00 – 4:00
Trials
There are no trials for Ultimate Frisbee. We feel that everyone has the right to play Ultimate and at the beginning of the year the team enter into a variety of open tournaments and fresher tournaments. This gives anyone in the club a chance to play Ultimate Frisbee at a competitive level.
We currently have both an Open 1st and 2nd team for the Indoor and Outdoor season, as well as a 1st, 2nd and 3rd team for Mixed Indoors. We also enter a women’s 1st team into both outdoor and indoor tournaments. We are strong in every team and the team is currently placed 18th in the country at both indoor and outdoor championships.

How to Join
To join Ultimate Frisbee come to Fresher's Fair and sign up. Everyone is welcome to join. We only charge £20 membership fee to join the club, which is cheaper than most sports clubs. If you wish to join later in the year come to any training session to pay the £20 membership fee.
We also use yahoo groups to send emails online to everybody in club. Follow http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/portsmouth-ultimate/ for any recent information. By joining this e-group you can quickly get in contact with anyone in the club. We also have another website that is yet to be announced.
