Democracy at the Union

Although Students’ Unions have been around since the end of the nineteenth century, the National Union of Students (NUS) was formed in 1922 to give united voice to what today amounts to 5 million students. Each body is an organisation independent of the University to which it is attached and acts to ensure that young people in higher education are supported, receive a fair service, have an influence on the structure of their education and are made aware of issues affecting them.

We give you a voice, so if you have any issue you want to shout about come tell us and we'll help you get the word out and support you.
