International Students make up 10% of the student population here at Portsmouth and we want to make sure their voice is heard. Being far away from home brings great opportunities but also substantial difficulties. The International Students Representative can report any issues in this area to Union Council, as well as helping to organise our fantastic Diversity events and input into the Summer Carnival.
This role covers any matters specific to international students, including things like international fees, visa issues, and how the union cares for its international members As the international students' representative, you will also have the chance to attend the International Students' festival to meet other international representatives.
