The LGBT Officer would be responsible for increasing the involvement of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-gender students in the Union's events, and to make sure they have access to the Union's support services.
The LGBT officer will work closely with all Sabbatical officers and the LGBT society, to celebrate and run events around LGBT History month in February. Another role of the LGBT officer will be to help establish the UPSU as a Hate Crime reporting centre.
