How to run / Nomination Form & Check List
About the nomination form
The nomination form is the most important document you will complete if you intend to run for election, and you should take your time to complete it to the best of your ability.
You will need to provide the following information:
- The position you're standing for
- Your student number (the six digit number on your campus card)
- Your course title and academic year
- A working mobile telephone number (or, if you absolutely don't have one, your home number)
- A working e-mail address which belongs to you (so we can contact you with important updates)
- The name, course, student number and signature of the people who are supporting your application:
- Your proposer (the person who is supporting your application)
- Four seconders (people who also believe you should run for election)
- Your scrutineer (the person who will supervise the counting process on your behalf). This person will have to spend a lot of time locked in a room on your behalf, and will be vital for your chances of election, so make sure they're a reliable person! (You will also need to provide your scrutineer's phone number - make sure it's correct!!)
- Your signed and dated declaration that you agree to undertake the responsibilities associated with running for elections.
