Hey Everyone, I'm Tom, your media and publications officer for 2008/2009. I’ve just graduated from Pompey after 3 years of uni studying Digital Media which apparently makes me the first Sabbatical Officer to ever graduate with a first class honours. I've worked for many years at the Union as a photographer and volunteer in the newspaper team and have seen it grow from strenght to strength. It is my aim to increase this growth for the next year.

What does your role cover?

My job here is to make sure the Union lets you know everything that’s happening through our wide range of media - from Pugwash magazine and the Pompey Guide, the Union’s fortnightly newspaper, on air at Pure FM, online at UPSU.net and now viewable on UPSU TV.

Every area of UPSU Media is made by students, for students, so whether you want to try your hand at writing, designing, journalism, radio presenting, film making, or any one of the hundreds of other jobs UPSU Media can’t survive without, come and speak to me any time during the year!
