The Union's Aims
- The advancement of education
- The relief of poverty and provision of financial assistance for the education of students
- The provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure occupations for students
- The promotion of equality of treatment and opportunity for all students
To achieve this UPSU will...
- Provide representation on University committees.
- Promote and co-ordinate social, cultural, athletic, educational and extra curricular activities of students.
- Act as a channel of communication.
- Encourage co-operation between student body and the University.
- Foster relations between the student body and the wider community.
- Provide a forum for local, national and international issues.
