| Purple Wednesdays is a weekly publication that comes out in print and online every Wednesday, believe it or not! You can pick up your copy from the Union every Wednesday afternoon. It holds vital information for clubs and societies ranging from match reports to society events. You will find that this is not your ordinary newsletter as it has very diverse content, such as “On the Spot” and “Gotchas”. This year you will notice that the layout and content has changed a little. We have decided to do this as in the past Purple Wednesdays was mainly aimed at our sports clubs and we felt that a lot of people were missing out. So to overcome this issue we have come up with new sections such as “PW Games”. These sections are there so that students that are not directly involved with any clubs and societies can still enjoy reading the content and if you like what you see you can then join one of the clubs or societies. Getting involved...We always encourage our students to write for our publications and Purple Wednesdays is no exception. If you would like to write match reports or articles for your club or society please feel free to do so and get in contact with Adrian Fraguela your Media & Publications officer. |
