Start-up online fashion boutique my-wardrobe.com has launched a search with the leading names in British fashion to find the UK’s next top fashion designer, to see their collection produced and sold on the my-wardrobe website next year.

The star-studded judging panel includes TV presenter Louise Redknapp; Sunday Times Style fashion editor, Sara Hassan; Daily Telegraph fashion director, Hilary Alexander; Nargess Gharani; Vanya Strok; and my-wardrobe.com founder and editor, Sarah Curran.

The search will give budding British designers the chance to create and upload an eight piece high-summer 2008 capsule collection, which could feature alongside leading designers such as D&G, Paul & Joe, Mulberry, Antik Batik, See by Chloe and by Malene Birger on my-wardrobe.com from next year.

Three deserving entrants will be selected and presented with £1,000 to produce their very own prototype garments for the panel to judge, with judging at a star-studded event at the beginning of January.
