RAG is teaming up with The University of Portsmouth Skydive Club to organise a charity skydiving event on April 26th to mark the start of RAG week, and if you raise enough money you can skydive FREE!

We're offering the option of doing either a tandem skydive where you will be securely strapped to an instructor before exiting the aircraft at around 13,000ft, or a weekend-long solo static line course, where after a full days training you make your first solo jump from 3,500ft.

The MINIMUM amount you need to raise in sponsorship to skydive for free is £250, which includes transport to the dropzone (near Salisbury).

The money raised from the event will be going to this year's RAG charities; The Rowans Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and The National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease (NACC).

We're holding a meeting in Function Room 1 at the Union on Tuesday 11th March at 6:30pm, where we will explain more about the charities and the skydive itself, and you'll also have to opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

To sign up to the RAG charity skydive event please e-mail us, telling us whether you'd like to do a tandem skydive or the static line course, and also if you require transport.

Please spread the word about this event and get all your friends involved!
