RAG is a once in a lifetime opportunity at university to spend your time having fun, meeting new people, raising money for charity and having experiences you never thought were possible.

We are a volunteer organisation which relies on the passion and dedication of students to function. We are not a charity ourselves but we raise money throughout the year on behalf of charitable organisations. At the end of the year all money that is raised is donated to 3 different charities which are chosen and voted on by you the students.

We, at RAG believe we can put the fun back into fundraising through team spirit, enthusiasm and our passion to do good for others. RAG is good fun too.

How to get involved...

Whether you want to organise, help collect at raids or want to help with developing your own fundraising ideas, Pompey RAG will offer you support and guidance to help you get the most from your volunteer experience.

We will show you the ropes and get you experienced with planning and organising charity events; but most importantly this is while you’re having fun!!

Get in contact with any member of the RAG committee or the Student Support Officer .

What we do to raise money... 

We have done many crazy things in the past to raise money for charities, ranging from sky dives, slave auctions, putting people in jail for the night and good old fashioned raids. However, we always have fresh new ideas for every year and welcome any innovative ways to raise some cash for the chosen charities.
