Please note: we're still working on the UPSU Groups section at the moment, so some things will occasionally not work, misbehave, or break. Please bear with us, and help us to continue making UPSU.net the best student website in the country by telling us if you spot a problem with the groups, or any other part of the site: tell us here.
You can use UPSU's groups section to create groups of people for whatever reason you like - for example, create a group of your friends so you can easily send them messages, or chat in the group discussion forum, or... Well, it's up to you.
There are some special groups on UPSU.net too, whose members are involved with the Union as part of various groups, clubs or societies - you can apply to join some of these if you want to.
Joining a group is free unless the group is part of a club or society, and anyone who's a member of UPSU.net can join and even create their own groups. Anyone with an @port.ac.uk e-mail address can sign up, and if you have an NUS card, then you're already a member of UPSU.net. If you've forgotten your sign in details, go to upsu.net/forgotdetails to have them sent to you.
