Students and employees of the Union need to maintain communication levels to a high standard and on this page, you will hopefully find the right links to take you to your relavent communications preference. 

University of Portsmouth Links

LookUP -The student pages for the University of Portsmouth and a gateway to vital resources such as your Student Portal and WebCT & Victory accounts. LookUP is constantly updated with news and information that may be of interest to students. Your departmental administration pages may also have links from LookUP so it is important that you visit this page regularly!

University E-Mail -The University of Portsmouth's email service is the University's preferred method to communicate with students both in and out of term time. It is therefore important that you check your NetMail account regularly. 

WebCT -The Virtual Learning Environment that the University use to expand on the learning experience, WebCT allows users to interact with their peers and is also used to support many courses in making materials available for easy access.

Students Union Links

UPSU E-Mail -The Union operates its own email service for its volunteers and employees. 

The Union uses FaceBook as a way to communicate happenings and events that take place   and are affiliated with UPSU. There are a variety of different pages and groups that are set up within Facebook and users must add these pages/groups to their profile before being able to participate in discussions and debates.  

You do not need to be a registered member of Facebook to view the following pages, however, you will need to sign up if you want to use the groups for your profile. Signing up is easy and can be done here!

UPSU Facebook Page -The official Facebook page for the Union and all of its activities. This page contains all the latest news from the heart of the Union and all the latest happenings such as opening times, news feeds and event announcements. 

UPSU Media -Recently launched and jam packed with information about the various media outlets that operate under the wing of the Union, this group aims to attract students to volunteer with the Union. 

Portsmouth Uni Freshers 2008/2009 - Targetted at new students who begin their studies at Portsmouth in September 2008, this group also promotes the activities of UPSU. 

Pompey Uni- The first and largest group set up on Facebook to allow students to communicate with each other before the Network Pages.
