Academic Support
The Union is always able to help and represent you, but the best advice we can give is to deal with problems before they get out of control. Feel free to drop in and speak to our Academic Caseworker, Fern Lewis, if you do have any problems. Otherwise, visit our website for advice on ECFs, appeals, complaints and plagiarism.
Fern is also our Bullying and Harassment adviser and can help you and speak to you confidentially if you feel that you may be being bullied or harassed.
ASK
The Academic Skills Unit is available to all students, for help with writing essays, revision, exam technique, and anything else you might need help with whilst studying. ASK are more than happy to go over previously submitted essays with you, and help make the most of the feedback you've been given by your lecturers.
