Netball 4ths Vs St Mary's 3rds

 With a new season ahead, a new team to play with
and a new league to play in we were all bricking it.
However, with the thought of a snakey B after the match we all got in court and within five minutes we were 5-0 up. The netball displayed by our team was textbook material as by half time we had a 10 goal lead! As the 3rd quarter started we were on fire with Steph Strode and fresher Jenny shooting the balls into the net one after another. St Mary's were blatantly not happy with losing by so much that quite a lot of contact was displayed but as true Pompey girls we rose above it (even though Claire Schmitz didn't want to) and we won the match 33-11. WOM nominated by both teams was our captain Steph Strode and DOD goes to fresher Becca who forgot what position she was playing! Well done girls lets kick ass again next week! |
