The new iMac suite: the Union is investing heavily in student media for 2007

The Union wants student volunteers to help write, design and direct the Union's media, including Pugwash magazine, the new Union newspaper, Purple Wednesdays, UPSU.net and Pure FM.

We have created two Facebook groups - one for writers and journalists, and one for designers - which you can join to stay up to date on the latest news about UPSU Media, including meetings, article ideas, events, and more.

The Union has loads of opportunities for student volunteers to get their stories in print, whether you're interested in news reporting, campaigns, creative writing, or something random!

You can get your name in print in our award-winning Pugwash magazine, our newly-launched fortnightly newspaper, read by thousands of people online at our award-winning website, UPSU.net, or even hear your work on our student radio station Pure FM!

Whether you have an artistic flair, an eye for colour, or just want to learn more about designing for print and online, the University of Portsmouth Students' Union might be able to help.

The Union has loads of great opportunities for student volunteers to get involved in designing its printed and online media, including the award-winning Pugwash magazine, our newly-launched fortnightly newspaper, online at our award-winning website UPSU.net, or even to help promote the Union's student radio station Pure FM.

Even if you don't think you're the best at what you do, we have a team of dedicated and experienced staff and, much more importantly, a great team of dedicated and experienced student volunteers for you to work with and learn from, not to mention a brand-new suite of top-spec Apple Macs to create your best work yet.
