Employers are required to take Income Tax on all your pay unless they have received a P45 or P46 from you
If you do not have a P45 from your previous employer, complete a P46 and give to your employer who will pass this on to their Payroll Department.
Your employer should be able to give you a P46 but if not, collect one from the Job Shop or download one from HM Revenue and Customs .
You can find out how to claim back income tax on the JobShop website.
