Police appeal for witnesses in student assault

Southsea's CID are urgently seeking anyone who may have any information about a serious assault against a male student which took place near the Ibis hotel on Thursday 20th October at around 2.15am.


The student was attacked by one man, while another suspect wearing a white shirt was present at the scene, but isn't thought to have taken part in the assault.

The suspect has been described as being a white male, aged in his early 20's, of athletic build and between 5 foot 10 inches and 5' 11" tall. He has short fair/mousy hair, and was wearing a dark horizontal striped top and jeans.
