What happens when you put Fraggy on the Isle of Wight at an extreme sports festival?
Actually, what happens when you put Fraggy on the Isle of Wight at an extreme sports festival with VIP passes, free accommodation and lots of alcomahol? Well, let’s say the words ‘extreme’ and ‘drinking’ were put together.
It all started early on Saturday morning, the skies were grey, the wind was in full swing and we knew that these conditions would add to the fun. After all, it is an extreme sports festival, and you kinda need the wind to be able to kite-surf! Once we’d got our bearings straight and had checked into our ‘chalet’, which reminded us of something out of a Carry on Camping film, we headed down to the festival. The first thing we came across as soon as we walked in was the sight of a mountain boarder pulling off an amazing back flip in the windy conditions, damn those guys got some balls! Oh did we mention he stacked it big time? Haha, chin up! As you could imagine the word ‘extreme’ was being used quite a bit throughout the day and it wasn’t long before a PWs challenge popped to mind. The challenge came about when the banter was flying about the evening to come. As you can imagine Fraggy jumped up with ‘Extreme Drinking’ which involved pretty much anything we thought was extreme! So take a moment to look at some of the pictures and see what you can come up with! We also had an attempt at some Extreme Ironing but the bloody camera man was rubbish and they didn’t come out!On the sporting side of things the weekend was immense. There was some good kite surfing on the Saturday with these guys getting some massive air. The thundercat racing was also a site to see. These guys were bombing it around the water a stoopid speeds, with a few guys breaking some ribs and ankles, EXTREME! |
