Netball 3rd’s on the Up

After losing 40 - 27 a few weeks ago and having our shooters moved around, I really wasn’t expecting to beat the mighty Chichester, who always have such brilliant Netball teams.
After a great start, Pompey found ourselves ahead by a few goals, only letting two in during the second quarter.
After half time, the Pompey team started to rest on their laurels and let Chichester back in to the match. So, after a team talk in the last break, the girls put in one hundred pecent effort and beat the mighty Wishy by one goal, leaving the score at 24 - 23 to Pompey!
An amazing game which set the pace for the rest of the day, which saw the rest of the Netball club win all of their matches. Well done UPNC!
