As it's a new year, we here's a belated present from the UPSU webteam - two shiny new homepages for societies and elections 2007.

The new societies homepage should make it a lot easier to find the societies that you're interested in, using the A-Z and category listings. We've also added handy links to information we think you'll find most useful - for example how to join a society or create your own - and you'll also find a summary of the latest society news as well.

It's that time of year again; the Sabbatical elections are looming, so we've given the elections mini-site a bit of a polish as well.

We hope you'll be able to find out all about what it means to be a Sabb more easily this year, because we wants lots of candidates running for positions!

Societies homepage

Also new to the societies homepage is a list of forthcoming society events, which is also shown on the UPSU.net homepage; if your society's doing something interesting - an event, match or show, for example - and you'd like to tell the world, tell us well in advance and we'll try and fit it into the diary for you.

Don't forget! Every club and society on UPSU.net gets their own homepage. It's up to you whether you do something with it, or you can ask us to put some information and pics up about you. All you have to do is ask; find out more here.
