Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in the UK, with over 41,000 cases diagnosed each year. Earlier detection and ever-advancing treatment technologies mean the survival rate is increasing all the time, and Cancer Research UK - which runs the Breash Cancer Awareness campaign - has been instrumental in saving lives by researching this form of cancer.

Like any charity, Cancer Research UK can't work without your donations, so please buy a pink ribbon as soon as you can and make sure at least some of your student loan goes to a cause more worthy than your social life!

There are many other fun ways you can raise money for Cancer Research - why not visit their website and get some ideas? We particularly like the idea of throwing a house party to raise money!
