VIP win prestigous award

UPSU VIP team are rewarded at a national awards ceremony.
 
The University of Portsmouth Student Union’s Volunteering in Portsmouth (VIP) team have had their dedication to helping others rewarded at a ceremony at Wembley Stadium. VIP won the Higher Education Volunteering Awards Volunteering Team of The Year, the most prestigious honour at the ceremony. The award was in recognition of the numerous activities that the team do in the community.
 
Steve Topazio the VIP Vice-President was proud of the award and thanked the whole team and in particular Steve Baker and Diana Langford. Topazio also outlined how “it was pleasure for an English team to win an award at Wembley”.
