John Denham, Secetary of State meets Pugwash News

John Denham, the Secretary of State for Innovations, Universities and Skills, visits the University and meets students.

During the visit Mr Denham, the member of parliament responsible for higher education, met with students and spent time discussing the future of higher education funding with Students' Union president Elle Gray and university students.

The discussion formed part of the minister's one-day tour of the University, touring the Expert centre and witnessing students practicing medical techniques on realistic human mannequins.

The minister also agreed to be interviewed by Pugwash News, and the video of this interview - including discussions on Top Up Fees, University Funding and Southampton University Student's Union - will be published next week.

I hope you grilled him... grilled him like a juicy double whopper with cheese... not unlike the double whopper with cheese that I had to buy in Cardiff train station because I didn't have enougth change for a single whopper so they made me use my card..and apprently £5 is the minimum for card use a burger king. Anyway I digress... but I hope you grilled him good!
