Purple Wednesday
Purple Wednesday
UPSU's Purple Wednesday launches into a new era of partnership with The Waterhole Bar teaming up with Jongleurs, Bar Risa, Bar 38 and Portsmouth's number one student promoters - Eskimo11.

Purple Wednesday will now be a celebration of Portsmouth student life kicking off with the Students' Union Waterhole Bar with food and drink thoughout the day. Jongleurs and Bar 38 will be working together from 6pm to provide all the traditions of Purple Wednesday - but with a twist. Jongleurs will see special rate student deals, Guest DJ's, celebrities appearances and live acts adding to the chart and classic student favorites, while Bar Risa downstairs will be reserved solely to accommodate the traditional Sporting banter. At the same time Bar 38 will be supplying the best in RnB, Hip Hop, Alternative, Garage and House along with a more sophisticated range of drinks.

To make things easier, Jongleurs will be letting sports clubs securely store their equipment upstairs - giving all our sports teams the opportunity to come straight from matches to celebrate their successes. You can now even book your team in for a free buffet after your games!

The best bit about the night is that whilst you are enjoying yourself at UPSU's Purple Wednesday - you are helping support The Union to support you.

UPSU is an Independent organisation which has the job of improving your experience and representing you during your time time at the University of Portsmouth. UPSU's Purple Wednesday is "for students - not for profit."
