Welcome
to University of Portsmouth Badminton Club Website. On this site you can find all
the latest news and information on the club. Fixture lists and results are also
available so you can keep up to date with the teams and see how we are getting
on as a Club. If you have anything you would like to include or just general
comments about the site please don’t hesitate to contact me.
New League for 2008/09!
With increasing participation being one of the main agendas for both the club and the AU this year, a new league for non-team members and university of Portsmouth staff. This league will consist of weekly matches played on either a Tuesday or Friday afternoon with trophies for the eventual league winner and runners up. Entry to the league will be in doubles pairings. This is not only a great way to play more badminton but it also brings a new competitive edge. Coaching will also be available off court during these sessions. More information will be available on club nights and at fresher’s fayre.

Come down to fresher’s fair or pop down to any of the
training session and we’ll be happy to speak to you. Also feel free to contact
us with the details shown.
Training Sessions
Monday:
19.30 – 22.00 (Team Training)
Tuesday: 13.30 – 15.30 (Intramural League)
Thursday: 19.30 – 22.00 (Open to all)
Friday: 13.30 – 15.30 (Intramural League)
Sunday: 10.30 – 12.30 (Open to all, team 1 court)
