Match Reports For This Week 29/10/08

Pompey 5ths Vs Greenwich 3rds, Bucs Cup
The Pompey Lads had an early start with a V long journey up to Greenwich. Standard Burton was asleep withen 5mins, yawning hell.
The boys were not really knowing what to expect from a Greenwich side a few tiers above in the league. But a solid start from the lads brought chance after chance and good saves from Igor the bulgarian beast in the sticks. We were solid at the back again and Greenwich only had one chance when Farms decided to try and Jackie Chan the centre forward and give away a free kick, which he managed to tip around the post. Pettys and Freddy were working well again with Rossy having a superb MOM game feeding the lads with some quality pings. DOD Petts decided to receive a goalkick from farms take a touch then play their striker in one on one and Pursey managed to track back and put in a quality tackle.
The lads were patient and Scotty after falling over for no reason banged out a top corner shot 1-0 cheers. The game was all porsmouth's, but out of knowhere the ref gave a terrible decision for a quality tackle from Burton. This led to the Greenwich right mid latching onto a vollley sending it top bin which somehow JF managed to jump over Clarky and tip onto the bar, this led to a break with Bday boy Stacky sealing a top win and a tight and bright night to celerbrate Pompeys 100% winning day.
Well Done Lads
