Activities: Enjoy hill walking in the UK and Europe, since bike accident 2004 and car accident in 2005, having to slow myself down and put on a couple of stone. However aim from Easter 2008 to lose the belly again.
Interests: Played Rugby, Football, Hockey and Latin American Dance. I have played in two Army Cup Finals, winning one and two other semi finals. Played Hockey for Havant and North Wales. Now more a spectator and back in to education.

Description: In Africa I helped organise several convoys from the UK to Living Waters in Tanzania. I also accompanyed the journeys by driving an articulated truck for many of the thousand’s of Kilometres. The setting up of the village has been a long process over 4 years.
Helping to establish a community by providing education and infrastructure for local population, this included housing, schooling, place of communal meeting and giving them a greater standard of life
This was achieved by gaining support from UK based establishments, before transporting the materials required by road and rail network through Europe and Africa.
Finally using built up relationships between the local elders and myself to develop the construction of the buildings. Continues support given through web link ups now firmly established through usage of reconditioned laptop computers.
Being located by Lake Victoria it is in a stunning location. However the population is still very poor and with the development of villages and schools their future prospects looks brighter.

Description: Started as a Driver Radio Operater in 1996, was based in Abingdon for 3 years and Southampton for 3 years. During this time a took part in 3 tours of Bosnia and 4 tours of Kosavo.
