UPSU Profile Guidelines
We've written a few pointers about what is and isn't acceptable in your profile. Don't forget that these guidelines don't replace the Terms and Conditions of UPSU.net, so please check these occasionally.
Do:
- Tell the world everything you want to about yourself.
- Upload a photo of yourself, or of something you like, or just something funny.
- Tell us how we can make peoples' profile better!
- Remember: if it's on your public profile, everyone can see it. It's up to you to decide how much people can find out about you from your profile.
Don't:
- Post anything which might reasonably shock, offend or upset other people.
- Be shocked if someone e-mails you and says "hello" just because they saw your profile on UPSU.net - they don't know your e-mail address, so if they're not someone you want to talk to, just delete their e-mail.
- Be creepy - you know the type. Don't be that person.
- Post pornographic images, genitalia, or full-frontal nudity on the site - your profile might be hidden or your account removed.
- Don't post anything illegal please - we will delete your account and, if necessary, contact the authorities. No complaining about this rule - it's the law. Sorry!
- Try and sell anything on UPSU.net, except where we say you can (for example in the "mini mart" forums). We have advertisers who pay to advertise on the site, and they get all upset if they think someone's getting free advertising. Plus, no-one's really interested in buying your stuff anyway.

Our rules are here to make sure everyone feels welcome on the site. You don't have to use UPSU.net or get an NUS card, but if you do, please follow the guidelines above to make sure everyone can enjoy the site.
