The property has a downstairs lounge, kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom, and two upstairs double bedrooms (We are looking for someone to fill the downstairs bedroom). All rooms are of a good size, and there is a small garden which can be accessed from the kitchen.

The property is located five minutes from Fratton station, ten minutes from Albert Road (and the Wedgewood Rooms) and a twenty minute walk from the nearest uni building (Eldon).

Rent is £850 a month between three people, so around £280 a month not including bills (max £50 a month) so it's cheaper than halls by a fair few bob!

Your standard house: Large master bedroom, medium sized back bedroom, smaller middle bedroom (yet can still fit a double bed), then downstairs front bedroom. Large lounge, with conservetory.

Bathroom: bath, shower, - oh, and a toilet! :)

kitchen.. furnshied! - ie, cutlery, crockery, etc etc..

Outside, shed.. plus concreted patio. - no grass to up keep!

Rent, around £260 a month each..

has virgin media, and sky ready to connect! - so no installation charges!

The house is on Lawson Road in Southsea - there are loads of shops nearby and its only about a 15min walk (5min cycle) to uni!

Dont know if you have already found a place but i am just going into my 2nd year doing english lit and looking for a housemate to share with myself and 3 other girls. The house is on darlington rd, just off albert road and the room will fit a double bed. Tenancy starts from beginning of august.

Our fourth housemate has unfortunately dropped out of our house, so in order to keep the house we have one double room available. The house is in Cottage Grove in Southsea, around 10 minutes walk from uni and the union etc. It is a 3 level flat, all with large spacious rooms and open plan kitchen area, double beds and plenty of storage. Rent is £284 a month and we have been told by the previous residents that the house is not expense to run.
