About the Union Shop
What does the Union Shop sell?
We are currently offering a wide range of University-branded clothing, including hooded tops, t-shirts, scarves, ties, and made-to-order Graduation hoodies.
We plan to expand our online range in the future.
Who runs the Union Shop?
The Union Shop is run and administered by the UPSU Copy Shop, and is part of the University of Portsmouth Students' Union.

Orders
Who handles my order?
Your order is processed by the UPSU Copy Shop. For certain goods, for example Graduation hoodies, a third-party company may handle some or all of the creation of your order, but your agreement and payment is with UPSU, the Union's charity company, or its subsidiary company, Portsmouth Students' Union Trading ("PSUT") Ltd.
Who has access to my payment details?
Online transactions through Google Checkout are handled entirely by Google. We have no access to, and keep, no record of your card details.
What is Google Checkout?
Google Checkout is an online payment processor which operates in much the same way as PayPal. We use Google Checkout to process your order as it provides a secure payment system which is regulated in the UK by the Financial Services Authority.
What credit and debit cards do you accept?
You can pay for your purchases with the following payment cards:

- Solo

- American Express
- Discover

Is the shop secure?
Yes. We regularly review our security policies and use the highest level of encryption wherever you provide your personal details relating to a transaction. Google Checkout - our payment processing service - also makes use of the highest levels of encryption and security, so you can shop in confidence.
Can I cancel my order?
When you place your order, you will have up to 15 minutes to cancel your order simply by going to your Google Checkout account page, and viewing your order, where you will be able to click a "cancel this order" button.
If you wish to cancel your order after this 15-minute period has passed, please contact us as soon as possible.
When will you debit my card?
We aim to charge your card as soon as possible after receiving your order, once we have allocated your goods to you. In the event that we cannot charge your card, we will try to contact you.
My order is wrong - how do I change it?
If less than 15 minutes have elapsed since you placed your order, the easiest way to change your order is to cancel the original order in your Google Checkout dashboard. Otherwise, please contact us as soon as possible.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders typically take three to five working days to arrive after we debit your card, although this timescale may vary depending on the order load we are experiencing. We will keep your order information up to date in your Google Checkout dashboard, and you can always contact us if you have any questions.
Is there a surcharge for credit or debit cards?
No, what you see is what you pay. We do not charge any handling fees for credit or debit card payments.
Can I pay with a cheque?
We are sorry, but we no longer accept payment by cheque. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Can I pay with cash?
We can only accept cash in person at the UPSU Copy Shop. Please visit the Copy Shop website to find opening hours and contact information.
