Filming Policy within the Student Centre and surrounding areas
This policy is intended to clarify the circumstances in which filming can take place in both the Student Centre, Gun House and the surrounding or intermediary areas (herein referred to as the student centre).
- To film in the student centre you must be in possession of a valid permit
- You must comply with any instructions given to you by the duty manager (including requests to stop filming or leave the premises)
- You must only film in the areas your permit specifies
- You must not harass or force any of our customers to participate in filming
- Filming is to be overtly carried out and where a person requests you not film them you must comply
- Film will not be released, distributed or passed to any party outside of the declared purpose as stated on your permit, under no circumstances will it be passed outside of the university without first seeking written approval from UPEL, UPSU and UoP.
- The bars (points of service)
- Any person participating in drunk or violent activity
- Any area designated as out of bounds to the customers
- Inside any of the toilets in the building
- Any nakedness or disorderly conduct likely to bring the establishment into disrepute.
