Halls Facebook terms & conditions

These Facebook Groups are operated and regulated by the University of Portsmouth and are subject to all University terms, conditions and regulations.

By joining these Groups you agree to abide by all contractual agreement, terms and conditions as set out in the "Halls of Residents Handbook 2011 - 2012". Any breach of these may result in disciplinary action.

• When using these Facebook Groups you must comply with the following regulations in conjunction with any previously stated terms and conditions:
• Comments / pictures made on these Facebook Groups should not be offensive or deemed to be offensive to other users, students and staff.
• Any such comments / pictures will be immediately removed and the person responsible may face disciplinary action.
• Comments / pictures must not bring the University of Portsmouth into disrepute. Any such comments / pictures will be immediately removed and the person responsible may face disciplinary action.
• The discussion boards on these Groups are not to be used to conduct any behaviour that constitutes a criminal or illegal act. In addition to University disciplinary proceedings, criminal acts will normally result in information being passed to the Police for criminal proceedings.
• Complaints about any comments on these Facebook Groups should be made to the relevant hall’s management team.
• Comments / pictures on any other associated Facebook page may also be subject to these guidelines and may result in disciplinary action
• The Administrators of these groups may change modify and / or remove any article they see fit. The Administrators decision is final.
• If there is continued abuse of these groups the management reserves the right to close or suspend these groups indefinitely.
