Why join the ISA?

It’s completely free.... and is a great way to meet new people who might be from a similar background, or who have come to Portsmouth from the opposite side of the world! It’s also an easy way to become an active member of the Students’ Union, make the most out of your time at University, and use the support services on offer.

What is the ISA?

The ISA is a group of students that anyone can join, celebrating the diverse range of cultures that make up University life and promoting the integration of these cultures into everything the Union does.

What can I do as a member of the ISA?

There will be regular meetings and social events, and you can be involved as much or as little as you would like! If you just want to attend social events it’s OK, but if you want to do more then there will be plenty of opportunity to become involved through the many clubs, societies, or volunteering and fundraising groups that are part of the Students' Union - as well as making sure that international students are represented at all levels.
