So you've decided on Portsmouth but are not really sure what life will be like in the city?

Well, you've done the best thing by arriving here to check out your Students' Union. We are here to make sure that your time in Pompey is the best it can be. Whether that means getting involved with our sports clubs, societies, media, volunteering or coming along to one of our especially arranged student events like Purple Wednesdays, the Union is here to help you with it all.

Our first big event is the Freshers' Fayre on the 22nd and 23rd September 2010 which is a huge gathering of all the student clubs and societies, and all the best student-friendly businesses in town. You will be able see what it is that we do as well as get some free stuff from local and national companies.
