Every November around the world mo bros and mo sistas get involved to raise awareness of men's wellbeing, from cancer to mental health. Here are some of the ways that you can get involved with the worldwide charity.
Beginning in 2004, Movember marks the annual event where men and women raise awareness to stop men from dying too young. So whether it's growing your own mo, or attending a mo-ment, here's how you can get involved across November.
Grow a mo!
Growing a moustache was what kickstarted Movember back in 2003. Everyone can get involved, last year our own women's rugby team donned facial hair to raise money for men's health. So whether it's a chevron or a handlebar, find your moustache.
Move for Movember
Whether it's running, jogging or walking, getting sponsored to move is a great way to get involved with the charity.
Host your own mo-moment
Raise the roof with a get together with your friends. Sponsor a sports match, take up the microphone with a karaoke night or even host afternoon tea to raise some funds for men's health.
Across Portsmouth there are events being hosted to promote Movember and fun things to get involved in, even if you'd rather not grow your facial hair. Find out more here.
